The Bill and Carol Latimer Charitable Foundation

 


 

To be eligible for the College Opportunity Fund, students must meet the following requirements set by The Bill and Carol Latimer Charitable Foundation:


1. Student must be a graduating senior from an Obion or Weakley County High School.

2. Student must be a law abiding citizen who is honest and trustworthy.

3. Students must be and remain drug free. The use of all tobacco products is prohibited. (Please provide proof of any physician prescribed medicine.)

4. Student must be enrolled full time in an accredited school pursuing a degree, diploma, or certificate of completion.

5. Students must have filled out and submitted a form for FAFSA*

Loan Forgiveness

The College Opportunity Fund offers the incentive of partial loan forgiveness to students who show good character and make good grades.

G.P.A. of 3.5 to 4.0 = 20% Loan Forgiveness

G.P.A. of 3.0 to 3.49 = 10% Loan Forgiveness

Students who choose to repay their loan in full within three months of their graduation date will receive a 40% loan forgiveness.

* This discount will be taken after any grade discount earned by the student.
