The Bill and Carol Latimer Charitable Foundation

Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible. - Corrie ten Boom

"The journey toward your Big Dream changes you. In fact, the journey itself is what prepares you to succeed at what you were born to do.

And until you decide to pursue your Dream, you are never going to love life the way you were meant to."

Dr. Bruce Wilkinson

The Dream Giver, pg 76

The Foundation is willing to construct an office complex headquarters

in Union City, TN for qualified non-profit organizations!

The Bill and Carol Latimer Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded to help improve the lives of residents of Obion County and the surrounding areas.

There are currently three programs that aid residents:

  • College Opportunity Fund primarily for graduates of high schools located in Obion, Weakley, and Lake Counties
  • Church Grant Program to help local churches that are called to uniquely minister to local needs outside their congregations
  • Helping Community Non-Profits that directly benefit the residents of Obion, Weakley, and Lake Counties

The Foundation's awards are focused by the values of Bill and Carol Latimer, aided by the vision of members of the Trust Committee who are well acquainted with the needs of the area.

The Foundation wants to be a good steward of the blessings that God has entrusted to its care.  It believes that using local churches is one good way to fulfill its stewardship responsibility.   Our children are one of our most precious resources and their educational advancement is highly valued by the Foundation.

Our hope is that this website will facilitate your awareness of the financial resources that are available to help students who would not otherwise be able to attend college and to assist local churches in serving the needy in Obion, Weakley, and Lake Counties.
